Permaculture Farm
An organic food forest where children learn biology, composting, soil microbiology, and nutrition directly with their hands.
Sadhna VidyaSthali is an educational sanctuary in the rural heartlands of Madhya Pradesh—where children learn through regenerative farming, vernacular craft, and joyful community living.
How it began
Sadhna VidyaSthali was born out of a simple realization: modern schooling has severed children from the natural world, practical life skills, and the quiet joy of discovery. In an era dominated by screens, competitive anxiety, and rote memorization, we set out to build an alternative.
Located in Konda Deori, Madhya Pradesh, our school is not an isolated academic institution—it is a vibrant farm ecosystem. Here, children rise with the sun, sow heirloom seeds, tend native cows, sing traditional melodies, and master mathematics through real-world surveying and carpentry.
Read our educational vision
Sadhna VidyaSthali is not a detached academic establishment—it is the natural learning wing of Sadhna Path Farm (sadhna.space), an intentional ecological sanctuary, organic farm, gaushala, and “Pause Space” (विराम स्थल) in rural Madhya Pradesh.
At the core of Sadhna Path is the art of pausing. The community logo—the comma ( , )—stands as a gentle reminder of a pause from the frantic rat-race, from relentless chasing, and from constant becoming. Here, children and adults alike practice the art of just being.
Traditional mud cottages, stillness, forest winds, and contemplative retreats for families, artists, and seekers.
Regenerative agriculture, rain-fed indigenous millets, and living soil nourishing our children and community daily.
Indigenous desi cows grazing freely, offering fertile soil manure, wholesome A2 milk, and gentle companionship.
The fertile cradle where Sadhna VidyaSthali took root as an unhurried, fear-free sanctuary for authentic childhood.
Campus ecosystem
Every space, rhythm, and element on our rural campus is designed as an active co-educator.
An organic food forest where children learn biology, composting, soil microbiology, and nutrition directly with their hands.
Indigenous desi cows teaching daily empathy, gentle animal care, and living ecological coexistence.
Earthen mud-brick halls, lime plaster, and bamboo shading that breathe naturally with the seasons of central India.
A strictly capped community of 150 students ensuring every child is deeply known, heard, and cherished.
On-campus facilitators
At Sadhna VidyaSthali, mentors are not distant lecturers delivering syllabi from behind a podium. They are co-inquirers who farm, eat, build, sing, and reflect alongside the children.
With an unhurried 1:10 mentor-to-child ratio, every facilitator has the time and emotional presence to understand each child's temperament, learning cadence, and inner wonder.
